Produced from from the late 1920s through the end of WWII, the Sheaffer Balance is an exemplar of the the penetrance of art deco design into one’s everyday life. It’s very modern, streamline design and produced in various forms and figures of celluloid, a precursor to modern plastics and revolutionary for its time, solidified the Balance’s place in design history.
