19th Century Agate Pocket Seal

This small pocket seal is made of unhallmarked silver and beautifully banded and faceted agate. This would have been made for a person of means (with the initial "T") who needed something portable, yet stylish, to sign his or her letters in style. Based on the style, we suspect the piece is French in origin and dates to the mid 19th century. Perfect for those who need that special piece to elevate their letter writing ritual.
