French Royal Necklace Box

This beautiful survivor is fit for the royal jewels, and by the crest and monogram on the top of the box, it once housed such pieces. The lush, midnight blue velvet interior is as luxurious today as the day it was made 150 years ago. The silk top reads " Guillot - Jouillier - Bijoutier, 3. Rue de Moulins (ancien19), PARIS".
