Neoclassical Bronze Bust of a Greek Youth

An excellent example of a cast bronze neo-classical but dating to the turn of the twentieth century. The greco-roman youth this piece depicts has sharp well defined features and the bronze sits atop a dark marble plinth. A very attractive piece of art which speaks to the heightened interest in archeology and classical motifs popular at the time.
